What happened this past month (April):
The first full weekend of April Joy and Nathan watched General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We also had a girls night - dessert bar at our place during priesthood session. Nathan and his friend (Joy's former co-worker) Dion crashed the party afterwards and had some treats too. Also the Friday before we had dinner with Nathan's co-worker friends Don and Fran at the Olive Garden.
The second weekend in April Joy and Nathan went out to eat at Don Jose's Mexican Restaurant for their 4 year wedding anniversary. It's amazing that it's already been four years.
The third weekend we had Joy's NDS friends were over for dinner. We saw Natalie & Dmitri, Victor & Eping, and Mark. For dinner we had a delicious salad by Eping, and then Joy made a beef stew and eggplant casserole. Natalie brought Opera cake, cheesecake. Mark brought drinks. We had a good time talking, and Victor and Eping about their vacation to Japan.
The fourth weekend we had breakfast at IHOP with Gaby, Fran, and Don. Then Nathan went off to real estate and Joy went home to work on household choirs. She also had to stop by a few stores and pick up some necessities. For dinner we went out to eat at the bistro in Nordstrom. Then we went to Dave & Busters to use up more of the card Joy got at her company Christmas party. While there we also crashed Roger (Joy's coworkers) bachelor party.
This month since it was our wedding anniversary I would like to talk about some of the traditions in our family. According to Mom Condie, it is customary for the mother-in-law to gift silverware at the bridal show. Please see below for the various sets of silverware that we now have.

Nathan is done reading that book now about darwinism. He's now reading a book called DNA and the Book of Mormon
Joy is reading Heinlein's The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.
Next she will be reading a mystery.
