What happened this past month (July):

The first weekend of July Joy and Nathan celebrated the Fourth of July with our friends Andy, Camille, Jason, and Kelsey. We had dinner and then watched the fireworks from our patio / outside. It was great. They have new cube shaped fireworks. Bella and Sidney had fun running around on the grass. Then on Saturday we went with our friends Brett & Rebecca to look at houses out in Temecula. Since it is a new quarter Joy pulled out her third quarter decorations (see pictures).
The second weekend we had dinner on Saturday at a newly opened Chipotle. On Sunday we had our friends Jeremy and Mikelle over for dinner. It was fun talking with them.
The third weekend we went down to San Diego for Sanya's first year birthday party. She's so cute. Vandana and Ajit made a delicious Mexican dinner for everyone, and also they had a darling birthday cake for Sanya. On Sunday we had Sister Carrol and Sister Rudd over for dinner. Then we went to the Pierce's apartment for games.
The fourth weekend we were very busy. While Nathan was showing houses in Temecula, Joy went to Nola's birthday party and practiced for her musical number at church on Sunday. For date night Nathan took Joy to Taco Bell (because we had a coupon) and went shopping afterwards for various odds and ends. And on Sunday we went to visit Nathan's cousin Dave up in Alta Dena. It's fun seeing Dave, Teena and Trinity.

Joy is reading through a bunch of short stories this month. Next she's going to read through one of her classics.

Personal Information: My name is Joy Jo Logan Condie. I graduated in computer science from B.Y.U.
I was born in southern California, but I've spent most of my life in Orem, Utah.
Interests: I've practiced piano since I was eight. (That doesn't necessarily mean I'm any good.) I like to read, especially mystery novels. Agatha Christie is one of my favorite authors. I also like old classics such as Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, and Pride and Prejudice.
