What happened this past month (March):

The first weekend of March Joy and Nathan went out to eat dinner at GG's in Laguna Beach. It is a mediterranean / persian restaurant. We thought it was okay. Although I might have preferred a Euro.

The following Monday we had Family Home Evening with the Harringtons. They made Nathan's favorite Italian dish - Fetticine Alfredo. We had fun playing Mental Floss. We also learned about a cute shop in their neighorhood called Tuesday Morning.

The second weekend Nathan took little Joy out to dinner at the Royal Hawaiian. We weren't impressed. The only thing Hawaiian about it was the decor. It was more fast food than we were expecting.

The third weekend we had dinner with our good friends Sheila and Tom Thorkelson. They are the cutest couple. They gave us the name of several books and movies they recommend reading. They are so busy with their children and work that we're so glad they spent time talking with us. Tom was going to subscribe us to the Trumpet circular.

The fourth weekend we had Suz Logan, Ricky Larsen, and Natalie Larsen come visit us from Utah. We enjoyed seeing them, shopping with them, eating with them, and playing games with them. They drove back Saturday, so we had dinner with the Marshalls. We tried a new restaurant called Mozambique. It was quite delicious. I had the tomato fondue knocchi, which was delicious.

The fifth weekend we spent Friday evening with our friends Gab & Jess at Dave & Busters. On Saturday evening we had dinner at Claim Jumper with our NDS coworker friends. It's always fun to talk with them. Mark is getting over his knee surgery and we actually got to see Ubaid and his wife too.

JNS Development is our new window contractor. They will be starting demolition of our existing windows the first of April (Tuesday).

Joy's little garden only has one tomato plant left. The rest have died. She is considering putting in some lavendar ice plants.

Joy has finished reading Notes from the Underground by Fyodor Dostoevsky. Next I will probably be reading Douglas Adam's So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish.
